I love children's books -- the good ones are imaginative, poetic, artfully illustrated, and engaging. Good children's books are as much fun for the parents as well as the kids. Welcome to Children's Books for the Weird
Thanks for joining us! The main idea here is to share good books as we come across them -- but this is not the place for Dick and Jane. This space will be devoted to the better books that we find, since we seem to be finding a great many of them.
I just stumbled across your blog today and I look forward to future posts. We're always on the lookout for new books for my first grader to read as well as for books to read with all our kids...and they definitely enjoy the "weird" books. ;)
